The GAIB Protocol’s NETWORK layer is crucial for establishing security and trust within its ecosystem, particularly as we tokenize real-world AI infrastructure into digital assets. This layer safeguards assets and ensures seamless, trustless interoperability across multiple blockchains.

The integrity of GAIB’s tokenized AI infrastructure, such as GPUs, robotics hardwares, etc., relies heavily on transparent and verifiable data regarding their operational status and physical attributes. Investors require assurance that the underlying collateral is genuinely active, performing as expected, and located where it’s claimed to be. Without a robust and transparent mechanism for verifying these real-world conditions, the trust between the physical assets and their digital representations would be compromised. The NETWORK layer addresses this by creating a decentralized and verifiable system for monitoring and securing these critical assets, bridging the gap between physical AI compute and on-chain finance.

GAIB implements its NETWORK layer through a combination of a proprietary Orchestration Network and strategic partnerships with leading shared-security protocols.

At the heart of GAIB’s NETWORK layer is a decentralized Orchestration Network, where anyone can participate by running a node. These nodes play a vital role in collecting and validating key data directly from the collateral GPUs. This data includes, but is not limited to:

  • Proof of Location: Verifying the physical whereabouts of the GPU assets.
  • Latency: Measuring the response time and efficiency of the GPUs. (GPU latency can vary significantly based on factors like physical location and internal architecture).
  • Bandwidth: Assessing the data transfer capacity. (Measuring GPU-to-GPU bandwidth is a standard practice in performance testing).
  • Memory Status: Monitoring the health and availability of GPU memory.

Nodes within this network are designed to cross-check each other’s collected data and reach a consensus, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the information. This transparent data stream provides investors with real-time visibility into the status and performance of the underlying AI infrastructure that collateralizes their sAID tokens, fostering unparalleled trust and transparency in the tokenized assets.

To further enhance its crypto-economic security and ensure broad interoperability, GAIB strategically partners with EigenLayer’s Actively Validated Services (AVS) and Symbiotic.

  • EigenLayer’s AVS: By leveraging EigenLayer’s shared-security restaking mechanisms, GAIB benefits from the robust security of Ethereum’s staked capital. EigenLayer allows staked ETH to secure multiple decentralized services (AVSs) simultaneously, reducing costs for new protocols and strengthening overall security. This integration allows GAIB to tap into a large, established pool of economic security, inheriting a high level of cryptoeconomic trust without needing to bootstrap its validator set from scratch.

  • Symbiotic: GAIB also integrates with Symbiotic, a shared security protocol that creates a marketplace for economic security. Symbiotic enables networks to access security from stakers, creating an efficient ecosystem where stake can be shared across multiple networks. It provides a flexible, permissionless framework for restaking, allowing for customizable staking implementations and supporting various collateral assets beyond just ETH. This partnership grants GAIB access to flexible and modular shared security, benefiting from Symbiotic’s permissionless restaking mechanism, which further enhances capital efficiency and decentralization.

This dual approach of combining a dedicated Orchestration Network with the shared security of EigenLayer and Symbiotic ensures a multi-layered defense against potential risks, while simultaneously enabling GAIB’s omnichain architecture to seamlessly support multiple blockchains including Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Base.
